Where is the Paço dos Duques and how do I get in?
It's in the historic centre of Guimarães, next to Guimarães Castle (Rua Conde Dom Henrique). Book a timed slot with us, show the e-ticket on your phone at the entrance, and go straight in.
Are these skip-the-line tickets?
Yes. You choose a 60-minute entry window and arrive within it, bypassing the ticket-office queue. Entry is by timed admission rather than a guided tour, so you explore at your own pace.
How much is admission and why do you charge more than the door price?

Do children need a ticket?
Children up to and including age 12 enter free when accompanied by an adult — you don't need to book a ticket for them; just bring proof of age. Ages 13–24 qualify for the reduced Youth rate with photo ID.
Can I visit Guimarães Castle and the Alberto Sampaio Museum too?
Yes — they're a two-minute walk away and make a perfect half-day in the birthplace of Portugal. Tell us and we'll help you plan the combination; combined tickets are arranged on request.
What if I need to change or cancel?
All sales are final except where the palace closes for reasons outside your control, in which case you receive a full refund. If your plans change, contact us as early as possible and we'll do what we can with the operator.
Is the palace suitable for visitors with limited mobility?
The palace spans several floors with historic staircases; a lift serves the main levels. Contact us before booking with any specific needs and we'll confirm the current access arrangements.
